At
Sunbelt Christian Youth Ranch, the staff wears many hats as both
house parents and in working the ranch. Are you an answer to
our prayers?
This is YOUTH MINISTRY in its
purest form. It is not wrestling for an hour of attention from
a child to gain a baby step of progress only to send him or her back
to a dysfunctional family for the rest of the week. It is an
opportunity to have the tools to effectively mold, shape and provide the needs of a young person.
This is DISCIPLESHIP in a true
sense. It is long term placement of a child in your care to
mentor to them.
This is TEAM MINISTRY by necessity. It takes two,
both a role model Mom and a role
model Dad to give the complete balance a child needs. It is an
opportunity to win the hearts and souls being wrecked by society and
broken homes.

If you are looking for a full time Christian
ministry that will meet the challenge of at-risk youth and are not afraid of a
lifestyle that involves physical "hands on" work, then the Sunbelt approach may
be the alternative you are looking for.
We have an immediate need for a married Christian
couple to begin training so that we can open our new ranch house and meet our
existing needs.
RANCH STAFF:
Meet the Folks who take care of the kids and the ranch.

attend college. Married Emmett Ingram in 1986 and is a mother

there is no better JOY than when a child realizes that Jesus
loves THEM for who they are and understands He will never,
ever leave them.

OUR SUPPORTERS AND VOLUNTEERS Without
the countless volunteers and contributors, Sunbelt would not
function. Several times a year, Volunteers come to
Sunbelt to spend time working on projects that are over and
above the day to day ranch work. The photo to the left
is simply a representation of the many that we need and
appreciate. |

THERON AND LINDA HARRIS
Retired
Founders of Sunbelt Christian Youth Ranch, Theron and Linda
retired in May of 2009 to pursue some traveling and follow
God's plans where he leads them. Theron and Linda had been with
Sunbelt since the beginning in 1989 and with Cookson Hills
before that, serving as house parents, public relations, and
administrators at various times, sometimes at the same time.
Eleven years ago Linda suffered a brain injury which left her
handicapped. Theron continued to run Sunbelt while caring for
Linda. Remarkable! They have three grown
children and four grandchildren.
